moe. continued their fall touring last night, hitting The Kent Stage in Kent, OH for a sensational mid-week musical celebration. moe. has been cruising through their recent fall tour, which kicked off with two nights in Chicago and rolled into Millvale, PA on Tuesday night. It was all heat when the band made it to Ohio, even opening the show with a 17 minute version of the track “Rise” to get things started. One of the big highlights from the night was a “Downward Facing Dog” medley, where the band worked in performances of Pink Floyd’s “Fearless” and original tune “Deep This Time.” “Fearless” marked the second consecutive night that moe. worked a Pink Floyd cover into their set, having played “Happiest Days Of Our Loves > Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2” at Mr. Smalls’ Theatre. Considering moe. just did a full set tribute to Floyd at Peach Festival, the songs must still be fresh in their minds. The second set was the jammier of the two, as the band opened with extended versions of “Mar-De-Ma” and “Moth” before tossing out a 22-minute rendition of “Don’t Fuck With Flo.” Even “Tailspin” got the jam treatment, before the band curved back into “Moth” and closed out the song. “McBain” followed, hitting the 19 minute mark as the band continued their jamming in style. That would ultimately close the set, and “All Roads Lead To Home” and “Captain America” closed out the night as part of a great two-song encore.Fortunately, a full recording of the last night’s show has emerged, thanks to taper Jesse D. Scott. Dig it below!moe. continues their fall tour tonight in Cincinnati, before heading to Buffalo for a highly-anticipated two-night hometown run. Check their fall tour dates here!
